Neighborhood guide

Ballard

Maritime character, a walkable core, and easy access to Golden Gardens and the Locks.

My take

Why I loved living in Ballard.

Ballard blends its maritime and Nordic roots with a lively, modern energy. I loved weekend mornings at the farmers market, sunsets at Golden Gardens, and watching the boats pass through the Locks. It's a neighborhood with real history and a strong sense of place.
