Volunteer Park Conservatory on Capitol Hill, Seattle

Neighborhood guide

Capitol Hill

Historic homes, vibrant streets, and Volunteer Park close to the city's core.

My take

Why I loved living on Capitol Hill.

Capitol Hill has energy you can feel — great restaurants, independent bookstores, and arts and culture on every block. Yet just a few streets away, you'll find quiet, tree-lined blocks of beautiful historic homes. It offers the best of both, right next to downtown.
